Summer At Pines | Week 9

Are we truly experiencing the wonder of being part of the church? This message challenges us to shift our perspective from what we can get from church to what we can give. Drawing from Acts 2:42-43, we're reminded that the early church was fully engaged - worshiping, praying, and sharing meals together. Our faith isn't meant to be a spectator sport; we're called to participate actively. The Apostle Paul's words in Romans 1 beautifully illustrate how we can be 'mutually encouraged' by each other's faith. This isn't just about personal growth; our faith is contagious, spreading like a wave through a stadium. When we step into our roles within the church body, we create awe and wonder, showing others that if God can use us, He can use anyone. Let's consider how we can spur one another on towards love and good deeds, recognizing that our contribution is not just needed, but necessary for the body of Christ to function fully.
