What To Expect
1. What are your worship experiences like?
Each Sunday at Church of the Pines you will find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with exciting, contemporary worship music and a practical, relevant message. Children are well-cared for in clean, safe and fun Pines Kids services.
3. What about my kids?
Each weekend, we prepare to reach dozens of children in an exciting and active environment filled with passionate worship, energetic games, great Bible stories and life-giving small groups that teach God’s truths on an age appropriate level.
Nursery - birth-2 years called "Seedlings"
Preschool 2 years-3 years called “Sprigs”
Kindergarten 4 years -5 years “Sprouts”
1st grade - 5th grade "Pines Kids"
Students 6th-12th grades (Pines Students) have a small group on Sundays. Check out the small groups page for more details.
5. Why do you have small groups?
Groups are an important part of Church of the Pines. In fact, you haven’t fully experienced the church until you’ve experienced our small groups. Groups allow you to meet other members and develop relationships that will spur on your relationship with God. As Church of the Pines grows, groups allow us to “stay small” and connected. Groups are available for all ages and interests – there’s bound to be one that’s just right for you. Learn more about why we’re big on groups or find a group to visit in our directory.

9. How can I be discipled and grow?
1 - Our desire is to see you become a fully-devoted follower of Christ. Our Next Steps classes offer the tools necessary to make this happen in your life. You can begin the process at any step of Next Steps.
2- Pines Ministry Leadership Training is for people who want to grown in their understanding of the Bible, theology and their personal leadership. For more information, contact info@churchofthepines.com.

You’ll find everything from casual clothes to suits at Church of the Pines. Come as you are!
4. How can I meet others and get connected?
There are many ways to get involved. You can begin by attending Next Steps. Small Groups are another great way to connect. In small groups, you can build friendships, learn more about the life of our church, and have to opportunity to grow in your faith.
6. What will happen when I visit for the first time?
If you are visiting with us for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and be anonymous for a while – and that’s fine with us! Come and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and see if this is the church for you.
8. Do you have a midweek service?
We offer a midweek service on the First Wednesday of every month at 7pm. Nursery and Pines Kids classes are available for children birth-5th grade.

One of the easiest things to do at Church of the Pines is to participate in a group. Groups meet throughout Tyler and they provide a place for Bible study, fellowship, and support. Wherever you live, there's a small group near you. Check out our online directory.
